WEST AFRICA MANAGER
Create and manage an office in Lagos Nigeria. Start the day opening and receiving the assistants an representative having a concise meeting with the team to look at what the day will be and what will be the targets of the day. After reading and writing the former visit reports of the past few days, call and report to the international offices in DUBAI and JOHANNESBURG. Payment follow up and call to the overdue invoices of some of the Key clients, exchange on the situation and set time for new payment. Visit clients and to eventually to new client and prospects, analyse of the market and visit to the markets. Visit report and analysis of the day discussions. Administration / expenses / costs / KPI.
Pros: Great contact with clients and new prospect, generally open to look at new propositions
Cons: Difficult movement in Nigeria generally traffic jam / airport standing / long administration negotiations.

The position provided a wider spectrum of responsibilities relating to finance processes
Each day provides new issues and queries that need to be resolved whilst having to meet deadlines. We have a great team dynamic and offer assistance when needed and when one of the team members are not able to cope or not available. I have learnt alot about dealing will different people and their characteristics. I have grown stronger emotionally. I have been given exposure to much more finance responsibilities as apposed to the previous work experience I had. I enjoy speaking to the people from other departments that I deal with. The most challenging would to ensure that month end entries are allocated in the month and journals relating to clearing these items by month end .
Pros: Great exposure to manufacturing industry and good remuneration

Management and running on a daily basis the office, review of the accounts and the planning visits. Report the activity including meetings and follow up with assistant and technical teams of orders being captured and accordingly progress in the work chain. Communication with head offices Dubai and Johannesburg, Paris. Please to go and meet / visit key clients in a weekly basis., organize and oversee the all logistics.
Pros: Contact with a large number of clients and learn from experience and business management
Cons: Pace of business sometimes lenghty due to desicion maker from all side of the porfolio's
