No growth.

Right Now I have to be personal. I need a new job as in now, I am not growing in this company and I do not like to be here anymore. My loyalty has been exploited and my commitment taken advantage of. I am grateful to at least have a job but then what's a job if your not growing in terms of social skills and solid experience. I am not Desperate but I do need to get out of here. if there's anyone out there willing to give me a reasonable opportunity, I'd gladly take it with both hands.

Pros: none whatsoever
Cons: yes 12 hour shift

Good

I am an administration professional with 1 to 2 years of experience in transcription. In administration with Gijima Holdings ( Vulindlela backscanning project) I key information from paper source into the computer follow instruction queues interpret missing data by context submit paperwork and other duties as assigned. I am a fast typist at 85 WPM with an incredible attention for detail. I have good critical thinking skills and am able to make decisions regarding questionable content; though I am willing to ask for assistance from a supervisor if needed. My greatest strength lies in the ability to transcribe data quickly accurately and efficiently. I have received multiple performance awards for my talents. It would be a pleasure to be able to share my expertise with my tewm

Pros: Exellent
Cons: Shift hours

It has been a great learning experience. I am now looking to grow in a different environment

A typical work day involves providing IT assistance to the external client of Gijima Holdings, clients range from retail outlets to major enterprises like banks. I have been privileged enough to provide Support for two of South Africa's biggest banks, Absa and FNB. I have learnt to do my work in a most professional manner in a professional environment as my performance reflects badly on the entire Gijima team to its clients. I have enjoyed working with my colleagues and strengthened my technical skills and abilities, but I am very eager to learn more.

Pros: Meeting different clients that I provide IT support to.
Cons: Long working hours

Major learning curve

working for Gijima is quite a major learning curve for me, as a field system support technician I have come a cross so many good challenges, technically and in terms of dealing with clients. and it sometimes it becomes harder when I am to deal with a client that doesn't not corporate with me, though I am trained to deal with such clients, although sometimes it's quite too much as I feel like they are trying to fail me. I love technology as it is something that excites me, it makes me want to go work everyday , surely that is one of the things that gives me courage.

Pros: great opportunity to kick start my career as an IT technician
Cons: Nomarl working hours

It has been the most amazing and eye opening experience to have started my career at Gijima.

My manger My manager, I and co-workers communicated on a daily basis. I would like to beleive we are more than just co-workers. Personal growth has been challenging and yet great because I have discovered other aspects to me, what I can be able to acheive.

Pros: Knowledge gain
Cons: Unpaid overtime
