Great Oppertunity to grow in all aspects

A typical day for me would be starting with morning meeting with all team members to find out what they planned for the day and what support do they need. Monitoring of operations budget of parts and workshop alike, speaking to site managers and owners TO build rekations. Have meetings with sales teams on new machines arriving so that I can schedule teams for assembly. I monitor over 200 what's app groups 24/7-7 days a week for the sites nationally and cross boarder. My teams all know that I have an open door - open book policy and they can talk to me anytime with no judgment. I have learnt alot about heavy machinary and a different way of managing different departments and the personalities. I think the sense of being one huge family working together is what I enjoy most. The biggest challenge which I face internally is that communication is an issue from my directors as they all 4 Chinese and their English is a big battle.

Opportunity taken due to relocation

Too many different instructions given. Sometimes made a fool as your instructions always change from superiors and you're the person to deal with public and makes you seem as if you have no idea what's going on. Those employees who don't know much or don't do much, are always praised.

Pros: Early finish on fridays
Cons: Instructions always changing, no benefits

I enjoy service and greasing of container machinery, repairs and part replacement.

Been working for years and have not been promoted yet and the company has been taking people who have no experience in this field and have been getting paid more than me
