I have a good relationship with my co-workers and Managers, I have learnt a lot from this company

I am a people’s person, so I generally get on with everyone. I have a good relationship with my co-workers and Managers, I have learnt a lot from this company regarding the building up of machinery for underground mines. The fact that this exceptionally large machine has been built up from myself and team is exhilarating. The machines are larger than normal residential houses. and this can be challenging if one small aspect is incorrect. we must then strip and restart to find where the problem is. So utmost concentration is required.

Highs and lows

Its Friday, and being me I already strated planning andscheduling Monday. One needs to be prepared for the breakdowns, invoices that needs yo go out for delivery, you need to be on top of the emergenct, urgent and normal. Which mines will have what stock, in order to ensure the logistics arein line with the cusyomer need. Monday has arrived. Invouces are completed, double check loading is done, an deliveries are out no layer that 8. Setting upthe stores employees to commence the sectional stock counts  Start loading new orders on the Navision systen, ensurimg itshow on the picking /backorder report. Give the reconsiled stock report fot the pucker team ro start boxing for the next days deliveries. Working on the bach order report expiditing om where the storez stock are. Working on the deficit on the month budget targets, Prepare reports om allstats for tuesday mornimg meeting. During all this, I need to ensure the stock is planned, Customers are happy,

Excellent company

Working at Ghh was enjoyable with my co- workers including our site manager we were working as a strong team a hard working team, the most part of work I really enjoyed was doing fault finding and major break downs because was a challenging job and a good learning curve to me, I will always miss a home likeGHH mining machines

Pros: in this job there are always opportunities when your always arlet
Cons: Ghh is a company which treat every employee with honour and respect

Excellent internal learning on hydraulics and engines

I am a qualified and competent Diesel Mechanic trade tested Artisan with 8 years hands-on experience on several makes of Earthmoving mining machines including LHDs UVs and LDVs. I can do fault finding and repair including hydraulic fitting , engines overhaul. I enjoy most to be keep wheels turning without or with minimum breakdowns.

Pros: Looking for company with great opportunity to be permanently employed

I HAVE LEANED TO WORK WITH DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS AND TECHNICIANS

Good day My typical work day is challenging and full of fun in terms of learning new things about the company system. My relationship with co-workers is very professional and dead line riven. I have leaned that every individual needs to learn time management and have basic management skill no matter what profession. What i enjoy most is when i have to use my discretion when i have to write manuals and when designing parts as long as the line up with the requirements. The most challenging aspects of the job is to memorize each and every machine manufactured by the company and know almost all the different functionality and spares that goes with.

Pros: I do not see any light in this domain
Cons: I always do voluntary overtime even on weekends in order to finish projects.
