Troubleshooting skills, people skills, time management

My day to day work duties are as follows,creating network cables,configuring VoIP telephones,help desk support, connecting people to printers, configuring outlook and helping users with some other technical problems,my relationship with my co-workers is great because they are good people especially my mentor because i enjoy working with him.I learn a lot from these company because most of the things i didn't know before coming here,i can now call my self a next expert for things am doing at work.I enjoy configuring VoIP the most because i find it interesting and enjoyable more than others,the most challenging thing is when logging calls from help desk come in huge number, as we need to finish the job before 24 hours.

Pros: Good relationship with people,leaning fast and execute the skills
Cons: not having enough tools to do the job

Excellent learning curve

My role is provide child protection services to any child within the South African border. My duties are intervening at a statutory level, render early interventions and preventative services. I compile professional reports, conduct home visits, home circumstantial investigations, court attendance, group intervention and community programmes based on family preservation services. The work is a multi-disciplinary level with different governmental and non-governmental stakeholders form partnership under the guidance of a Social Work Supervisor and Manager. The fruits of the job I do is to see overall positive change in a human being's life, serving the best interest of the client. Restoring human dignity and self-efficacy in the social functioning of an individual.

Excellent Learning Sector

I have been offered a good the department is a good learning environment and very friendly place. i have learn and given an opprtunity to develop my self. i also had opportunity to grow within the organisation althoug it ccame after along time due to limited career growth.

Enjoy team work and thrives in highly pressurized and challenging work environment

Excellent written and verbal communication and problem solving skills, Ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines, Excellent time keeping and time management skills, Windows Server 2012 Administering, Maintenance and repairs of PC’s and Printers, Hardware and Software support & troubleshooting, Software installation, Setup and configure printers, Network configuration, Internet configuration and setup, Testing and evaluating new technologies.

Pros: Great opportunity for promotions
Cons: Long working hours

Marketing Communications not understood, and at times not prioritised

The Gauteng Departemnt of Social Development is making endless efforts to reach out to different communities and stakeholders that are affected by our services; indirectly or directly. we have taken an approach of applying and implementing integrated marketing solutions.

Cons: Environment too limiting for growth in my scope of expertise

I enjoy working in procurement department as it is full with challenging experience and good experience for someone who has just graduated from university.

I I work in a very diverse organisation which contributed much n my personal skill development and building good relations.
