Gauteng City College Reviews

Good learning curve

Gauteng City College has taught me a lot on how to communicate with people. My relationship with co-workers is good because there is open professional relationship where everyone is free for assistance in terms of work related. I have learnt team management skills, I have improved on the communication skills, telephonically, in writing and in person. I enjoy the customer service over the phone through problem solving, capturing data, typing and going to school visits and career expo's. The most challenging aspects of the job there is long working hours, over time duties without commission, overload of tasks to be completed within hours and is compulsory to work during holidays.

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion
Cons: Long working hours

Good working environment to utilise my skills however growth is very much limited

Good working environment to utilise my skills, however growth is very much limited,. Opportunities are scarce and lack of corporate culture stifles room for improvement.

Pros: Great place to use acquired skills
Cons: Long working hours
