Fast learner

Working in the Transport industry was definitely exciting. I was able to learn so much from the various departments around me. I've come out of the company due to study commitments however the life lessons and amazing co workers have made my stay one to remember.

Pros: excellent opportunity for growth

Excellent learning curve

A typical day would be to start off the day by, assisting the controller with the briefing of drivers. Then after I collect documentation from the previous day deliveries reconcile it to the correct file. When that is done I captured data on the system for each delivery and ensure they're ready for invoicing. My relationship with co workers is strictly work related and I've learnt a lot about conducting myself in the work place, telephone skills and email etiquette. I enjoy working independently and I have a huge challenge with co workers always seeking help at last minute.

Pros: Learning experience, especially if it's your first time in the work place.
Cons: Long working hours
