Growth within departments

Its great to work for GUD Holdings because of kind people here, everybody is willing to learn, to grow and meet each other halfway. Working in a Manufacturing is not easy, target must be reached every month, stock must be receipted on time as well as the cut off on system must not run to the second month. I 've learned a lot in terms of production, cycle counts, stock take and work to keep the flow of production running smoothly. Being issue clerk is always a challenging and more critical because you are working with figures, material and consumables.

Pros: Strong consultation in every department
Cons: Poor communication among staff

Great exposure to account management

Great working environment with diverse people, the company sponsors the sharks so we get to watch the home games inside hospitality suites, we also get to travel a lot as the company has manufacturing plants on all the major provinces. I have also learnt a lot about drafting marketing briefs for Advertising agencies and writing articles for the company magazine.

Pros: Friendly working environment
Cons: No place for growth

It's a nice place to work for.

It is a good place to work for especially with all challenges that need each individual worker to work excellent in a team environment. It is good company when it comes to development to those who are willing to take initiatives or bull by its horn . All the qualifications I have I obtained them while I working. I just Finnish NQF 2 IN INJECTION MOULDING SETTING COURSE of which it was organized by the company.

Pros: from operation to setting, Supervisory .
Cons: 42 hours per week

My Qualifications and experience.

I am a section 13 Artisan ( Fitter and Turner 01/1992) with a National Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering. I have worked in large companies, like Mondi Paper and Lion Match.

Pros: Large company benefits
Cons: Excessive week-end work

Gaining experience

I work as Technician.Most of the projects i complete them with time and they became successful.I enjoy working as Technician.The most challeging aspect is modifying what is already there.I have been working on this company from 01 Nov 2016 up to date.

Pros: Opportunity to grow
Cons: Normal hours
