Its so greate working here coz you got to meet new people everyday which I enjoy so much,and it soo challenging to deal with customers bt I luv it ,I work for very nice boss but furm at the same time my colleagues r very talkative there is never a dull moment when im at work we alwayz serve customers with a big smile

Great learning experience

I had a great learning experience because I got to work generally in all different posts. So all in all for a first job fruit and veg was all in one kind of job for me.

Learning curve and gaining experience

I have learnt a lot within this industry, what i now know is how to keep fruits nad vegetables fresh. In this industry one needs to know when prices need to go up and when they should go down. Creating an environment where customers have faith in you is the most exciting feeling and just working as a team with your colleagues.

Pros: Experience that you gain gives you an opportunity to go and explore out there.
Cons: Dealing with difficult customers

Face to face experience

My job includes packing, stacking and checking the products are in good condition for consumption by customers i had to count and check that the stock in the books corresponds with that we have in store the grocery department was often busy so any merchandiser had to recheck the shelf's that they is still availability of products working in a supermarket is as packer is challenging because you deal with customers must always be polite, understanding and helpful, pushing trolleys full of goods putting extra hours just to get the work done on the day

Cons: Little working shift a week
