I specialise in sales and marketing of the company. Also to maintain rapport with existing customer base and also to source new clientele. It is not my niche industry to work in ( that would be FMCG, Consumer electronics, general merchandise,etc) but it came along when I needed a job urgently. I assist in the operations and managing staff.

Pros: Liasing with different people every day

Definite gain of knowledge to the particular industry. Learned a lot of skill

Although it was not quite the industry or career profession I would have chosen, I was given an opportunity when I really needed a door to open for me whilst looking for employment. I am grateful for the chance I was awarded to join the company and to gain experience and knowledge in the particular industry. Daily activities include sales specializing in shopfitting, custom made furniture, bathrooms, kitchens, BIC •cold calling and maintaining existing customer base and keeping the rapport in tact.

Pros: Gaining experience and knowledge and new skills
Cons: Low pay, slow industry, not my niche in my sales world.
