Excellent experience in learning to deal with different customers and situations
Working with a great team in a fairly new pub that is still adjusting their costs to pay their workers what they deserve. Learned to think on my feet and enjoying a great relationship with the owners and managers. The hours are however long and don't get paid paid for. A salary to make up for the time would make life a lot easier for me.
Pros: Great opportunity for promotion if the establishment grows.
Cons: Long working hours with a salary not comensurate

My Personality in a working environment
I am a very reserved and disciplined individual who likes to focus on what I'm doing and do best. I get along with my colleagues very well but most focused on my responsibilities as a chef. Time is very important in what I'm doing and I'm here to please the customers with a very well prepared meal of that day. I hate being late. I have learnt to work smart and not being put under pressure to do the right thing. I also learnt to work under the noisy environment as the music is always loud to attract the customers. The most challenging thing in this place is that the kitchen is an open plan area where all customers can see while preparing food. And I ended up enjoying that.
Pros: I like to come up with lot of ideas for the menu and believe I can be head chef one day.
Cons: I can work long hours as overtime.
