Excellent and challenging learning curve as it is a global company.

A typical work day -Daily meetings with about 5 3rd party providers to review KPI's and address pressing issues looking at interim corrective actions and permanent corrective actions. -Review of purchase orders and invoicing for 10 3rd party service providers within material flow engineering department. -Part of the efficiency team to identify cost saving initiatives for service provider operations on the company's site. Your relationship with co-workers -Pleasant but we do hold each other accountable to ensure that business objectives are met. What you have learnt -Professionalism -Listening skills as i take down minutes for all meetings. -Conflict management. What you enjoy most -Working with people from across the world and learning about different standards to ensure the achievement of objectives. The most challenging aspects of the job -Conflict resolution among 3rd party service providers that are customers to each other within the business -Long lead times in approval of processes

Excellent learning curve

its a good way to learn to have an overview on how the industry and other industries co-relate and co-exist . The kind of job i do and the relation i have with my co-workers excellent, wouldn't complain about anything on what i do and the import ants i have to my colleagues and my position. i am a team kind of a person i really enjoyed working with other employees . it got to improve my interpersonal skills , my communication skills , problems solving skills and other skills got improved.

Growth and character refinement

I don't work there anymore, however I've learnt to work well in teams and to exercise empathy. The job was very challenging when targets had to me met. The most challenging part was when I was moved to work at a different department, I had to quickly adjust to working with new people and do a completely new job. I did fit in well with others and it worked out pretty well for me. The whole operations are all about working together and really, trusting your fellow workers. If you don't trust each other then the quality of work will be very poor. That's why I've been able to sharpen my conflict resolution skills. I really believe appreciating everything your coworkers for you, builds a strong bond for you. I've learnt this whenever I showed them appreciation.
