Typical work scenario

A typical workday at Flowrox includes but not limited to the following: - Checking all outstanding supplier & customer orders - calling on local suppliers - Trying to source local supply of goods currently be imported - Warehouse and Logistics management - inventory Management Making sure orders are correct and shipped out on time - Completing reports on HQ KPI My relationship with co- workers is very professional We are a small team, so we work quite closely with each other The most challenging aspect of my job, is trying to find a balance between inventory holdings and on time delivery. We are trying to lower inventory levels Globally as well as improving on delivery lead times. This is quite a challenge as sales forecasts are not accurate and it puts pressure on the Supply Chain to try and find this balance.

Excellent learning curve

A typical day is always different. In my work environment specifications changes all the time, so one has to be quick to mitigate circumstances and avoid any delays.The job entails making quick decisions that need to be beneficial to the company and customers and this is what I love about my job.

I do have packaging industry experience. I have previously worked for Nampak Flexible (Rotoflex) packaging in Pietermaritzburg. I believe I have the right credentials for this position.
