A pleasant organisation to work for with a lot of "heart".
A typical day at the office would be to assist the CEO with his diary planning, answering emails and phone calls. To liaise with Unit Managers and office staff getting documents signed by the CEO and arranging meetings for them z\with the CEO as well as reminding them of deadlines. I do some research as and when required for the CEO. Arrange functions and Board Meetings as well as taking minutes, type and distribute same. I have a very friendly but professional relationship with most co-workers. I have learnt patience as our residents are over 55 and need information explained in a calm and empathetic manner. I enjoy the organising of functions i.e. farewell functions as well as the AGM etc. the most. Working at deadlines particularly to get the Annual Report out on time and having to wait for information from different stakeholders as well as dealing with designers and printers to get the printed product out on time is the most challenging aspect of my job.
