Flightcentre Travel Group Reviews

Most Valuable years

I was fortunate to be able to learn from the best leaders in the industry due to the open door policy they have, the 'what gets rewarded gets done' philosophy meant that if you put in the effort, you got the recognition for it. I traveled to some of the most amazing places for work and awards which otherwise I wouldn't be able to which I am so grateful for and the company was always more than willing to teach and grow those who put up their hands. It is also a very team orientated environment which is communicated from the top right through to the bottom, what the business' focus is and where each individual fits in to form part of the overall business plan. Challenges were to get people's buy-in when there was changes and the only constant in travel is change. The company has the biggest market share in the industry and is also a Global company which gave clients peace of mind when booking with us about price and product.

Pros: opportunity to grow (brightness of future BOF) / global buying power = best rates / open door policy / recognition /
Cons: long hours / for those of us who are goal driven tends to struggle to get work/life balance right / diverse cultures
