Learnt a lot

My duties included taking calls from clients involved in accident and or needed roadside assistance and breakdown towing. I would have to book cases on a system provided by the company. I would then have to dispatch a tow truck to assist the client and tow the vehicle to the correct destination as per the insurance they have. Other duties involved assisting with home assistance and locksmith cases to mention but a few. A constant follow up on the client would have to be done every 20 minutes until the client gets assistance and gets home. My experience at First Group has helped me improve my empathy skills and has allowed me to gain organizational skills, and provided me with extensive knowledge of how different insurances and their protocols align with clients needs. Hearing someone thank me for assisting them made me love my job too much. The most challeging part was dispatching a tow truck to assist a client who is 100+ kilometres away.

You work with friendly helThe only downfall is that there are very few opportunities for growth. The salary brackets are also very loew. the increase you receive annully is capped at R500.pful people

Great learning experience

i am hard working and loved being challenged. my sedication to succeed in life helps to produce the best results. i am continuisly learing in everyday and with this i am building a sound knowledge in my field. although the job becames monotonous the job has to be done to eventually create the big picture that everyone needs to see. the only problem with my current job is the working the hours. it takes a strain on an individual to work till 5 everyday.

Excellent but challenging learning curve

It is a pleasure to work at an emergency call centre though it is extremely challenging. I love to interact with people it is even better when I'm helping. My current job requires me to multitask in the form of typing while i take call after call and also applying knowledge. The ability to grasp a lot of information is essential so I am always learning and this has taught me that I can survive at any job as I always give it my best shot and work hard.

I am very efficient, hard working and reliable. I am a fast learner and I have great references from my current employers . Not only have u been doing all the AGM board packs. Financial packs. Directors packs and share holders pack I have made sure that everything was done almost a year in advance where possible. My work ethic is beyond retupte and I pride myself on my efficiency loyalty and ethical conduct

First Group Experience

It is not something I am use to- from coming form a fast past deadline driven environment. I miss having a department to run and having to deal with clients and 50+ staff. Overall though- it is a nice place to work at. Very accommodating to family life.

Great Growth opportunity to take me to a higher skill level.

Manage a variety of portfolios that are largely involved in the timeshare industry. The scope covers: Hotels, Resorts, Apartments and Chalets and Body Corporates. This entails the total management of the asset from operational to finance to legal and Boards.

Pros: Great oppertunity for the experienced manager

Career Opportunities

I would like to express my interest in the advertised position. While much of my experience has been in the office support environment, I understand the social value of the workplace and my 26-year experience will be an asset to any organization. My responsibilities include the development and management of the company’s needs, voice, style and the daily production of an office environment.
