Learning new skills and how to tackle challenges.

My current occupation requires one to have patience, learn how to deal with different types of people, be able to learn new skills and have space for learning new experiences. I have learnt over the years how to work with people, how to adapt to change, dealing with situations and providing solutions, having to offer efficient and great services and doing that in an estimated time as it is an emergency contact centre. Most challenging aspects about my job is that working under pressure is a day to day requirement as we receive calls, dispatch those calls and follow up and you don't control as to how much calls you need to receive per day and it's different insurances that we assist,having to know all the insurances benefits and limits respectively and knowing how to deal with angry, passive, talkative, happy clients and how not to treat a client as the first one as they all call with their different asisstance requirements.

Pros: Learning something different each day
Cons: Only working weekends

Working at First Assist Management, i have learned lots of things. The experience that i got there and the treatment was over the world. I dont regret working at First Assist and the people there i have enjoy working there and the enviroment was good.

Excellent learning curve.

I learnt a lot about insurance companies and services that they render to their clients, for example roadside assistance I learnt exactly how it functions and the reason why people actually should have insurance for their vehicles. Home insurance is also essential to have because one will never know when they might need assistance should their home be broken into, geyser bursting or have leaking pipes in their household, this is also what I have learnt from my current company. I love helping clients more especially when they are stuck on the side of road and they are panicking knowing that I can actually save them from the face of danger is the reason why I love my job. Working with my colleagues is a bliss, the words team work makes the dream work fits perfectly at our workplace.
