Career Growth

I am currently employed as a mould operator at Feltex Automotive, and I enjoy what I do, I am however looking for career growth within or outside company, I am more than willing to go an extra mile and even further my education and training. I believe that this position will take me to greater heights and I promise to be an asset in the company. I really enjoy working as a team as goals are achieved as a collective, and channeled through company procedures and policies, I however work as an individual as I'm an independent matured adult, I am self driven and motivated, I know machine operations and have so much passion for, most if not all duties listed here I do and it all depends on the type of the machine but I hav e worked in the industry.

Growth in my career

I have gained more knowledge in Quality I have gained experience in ISO and TS standards of automotive I enjoy working with customers and suppliers Working in new projects Practical Quality inspection in factory CAR and Non Conformance reports Most challenging is working on root cause analysis of customer related issues.

Good learning experience

It's a good company to work for and it allows an individual to grow within the company. It's a highly challenging environment but worth the learning curve and experience. It requires a person who can think out of the box, but work in harmony with fellow colleagues

Daily duties

I am Thami Majiya working at Feltex Automotive as a Quality Controller. I am working with receiving side of raw material, preperation and Quality assurance. in the morning I checked my emails to have the full understanding of what is going to be in the production during the day and have sure all the test needed for raw material has been carried out and performed tghe the pre blend product to assured that the raw material give us what is expected in terms of colour, shrinkage and crimps. The results will; give us the right percentage blend then if we are setisfied we released the same products to the full production after all the necessary tests have been done.

Pros: Its challenging and ok.
Cons: Doing the same thing everyday.

Good working hours

Overtime usually required over year end. Good work life balance. Salary could be better. Challenging environment no room for growth. Very routine can be very boring. Good team

I am studying towards my CIPS degree

I love my co-worker and I care about them. If they are happy ..I know i will have a productive team making a profit. I have learnt to go the extra mile and to get up every day despite our challenges ..and keep going do our our best Connecting hearts,connecting minds,together as a team we can accomplish anything.

Great exposure to international companies

Liaising with international customers from all over the world is a great experience. Co-workers are great, fun company to work for. Good mentors available in all fields. High level of professionalism when dealing with customers.
