Good learning curve
Its a good company to work for because it supplies Toyota south African motors TSAM with all the interior parts,I good familiar with a lot of processes and we have been working with Japanese engineers through out the year and it was very advantageous to me because I was able to learn a lot from their kaizen philosophies of continous improvements (a philosophy for eliminating all types of waste "waste is the enemy")
Pros: Great
Cons: Long working hours

I am a dediacted person who enjoys work and a challenge and i strive to do my best at all times
My current environment is a good challenging one. However i believe there is a need for change and growth. i have learnt a lot here on how to hanle pressure almost daily and keep calm in a difficult situation. i enjoy interaction with my colleagues at the Toyota manufacturing plant . the biggest challenge is managing Just in time deliveries when we have low stock in plant
Pros: Challenging
Cons: Growth

My detailed job requirements
I have a daily routine yet I have the new manager asking me who I am with who gave me permission and I should ask her permission if I need to talk to anyone. I work on my own currently pregnant but I had to join the union because they were giving me warnings for something that happened 4 months ago n I have improved my methods. I required to be at work at 6am til 8am for my days off to avoid a discipline and they do not offer me a backup person.. (I am sneakingly teaching a colleague). I applied for numerous jobs in management yet denied with no solid evidence. I am responsible for work out of my job requirements (logistics manager + production manager). I process documents and email to them so that they fwd it to the superior as their work.. My salary has no incentive yet I am blamed for production not achieving. When incentives were offered to production suddenly they work excellent n achieved target that I always set.. So it was not me who never did a good job it was production controllers...
Pros: Stable salary
Cons: Management never recognized my work

Automotive Industry
it is a very challenging work place , the daily activities are simple but all problems are not being solved at once and some take some time to be resolved. To be involved in the process of work helps to be able to identify and able to solve the issues that arise. I have learned a lot in my experience on how to deal with your subordinates and staff. Team building sessions and training of new employees is what I have enjoyed the most.
Pros: training and development
Cons: promotion not sufficient

Excellent learning curve and experience gained.
Working at Feltex has taught me many aspects of my job as a buyer and inbound logistics supervisor. I learned MRP and ERP/LX systems. It is a challenge daily and no 2 days are the same in Feltex Automotive Trim. I had great relationships with my co-workers and learned to speak Zulu as a result of learning new cultures within the organisation. I enjoy working in the manufacturing industry as it is like watching a child grow through the process from purchasing raw material to a finished part ready for the customer.
Pros: Extensive knowledge and experience gained
Cons: No proper structure regarding duties and job descriptions
