Franchising, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution & marketing under one roof

Challenging environment. I mostly enjoy developing people, analysing businesses & implement systems to address areas of concern for Franchisees. Work well with diverse group of people, irrespective of culture, religion, race & importantly irrespective of which department or title people might have. Some of our brands is making use of e-learning & it seem like all our other brands will follow suite. I have explored the benefits & disadvantages of e-learning. My conclusion is that e-learning is skills driven & miss the people development element & some key areas such as hygiene & safety/security. Most challenging aspect is to align training & operations. Training is seen more of a liabilty & not as a "cash centre" whereby operations is seen as "more important". However, to execute ops, training is a basic fundamental to drive operational excellence.

Pros: Opportunities for growth exist even in other departments.
Cons: e-learning does not cater for different learning styles

Good growth and learning curve

I have work for different companies but working for this one was a any eye openly as I have learn and grow in working environment or in this industry What was more important to learn to deal with franchisee and helping them to grow their business Working hours 8 hrs a day 5days a week It is more like a family to work with colleagues as we support eachother other Mostly was when we have braai on Fridays on last week of the month and when we celebrate our achievement Meeting the due date of submission or monthly duty

Good learning curve

Reporting to the Plant manager,maintenance manager and the executive manager. Nine working ours a day and off during weekends unless other emergency arise. Most of time will be interacting with Artisans,technicians and general workers. Sometimes meet with different department managers to discuss company way forward and creation of good working environment.

Pros: Expanding my horizon in the manufacturing industry

big environment , many departments from franchising logistics manufacturing the list endless Establish project finance and documentations are all in place and to adhere to the financial policies of the company Establishing relevant projects docs are signed and approved by the franchisee and the project manager. Manage all financial aspects of the projects and co- ordinate with the Project manager, Franchisee and Suppliers
