Big hotel, not too great on some senior Manager. Too much favouritism and victimization. You have to be liked in order to succeed or be promoted. Either director of HR and Director of Operations including the General Manager needs to like you in order for you to move up or get an increase in your salary. It's a lovely hotel but it's lovely to work for.

Pros: Long hours
Cons: Small salary at the end of the month

Communicator

Being an HR administrator it stressful but I enjoy every moment because its keeps me working around people communication is the best skill I have and interaction. I work well under pressure and I like to take every opinion from people also treat them as unique individual.

Pros: Great opportunity to work with diffent people wit different cultures.
Cons: work under pressure and meet deadlines

Good

MY experience was good because it helped me understand more on working with different people and the culture and understand more customers than I was before I gave an opportunity to increase my level of communication hence I worked with different people the most challenging expect it was when I have to work nights shift yes it was challenging for me because of the transport arrangements that I have

I have accumulated a diploma in Human resources through Unisa.

Its a great industry with a great opportunities to grow. You meet different people everyday and different challenges everyday, Great people with different preferences. I have learn to share experience while gaining knowledge, working as team, control temper and emotions, understands peoples preferences. I really enjoyed interacting with different people from global world learning different cultures Facing unhappy guest and an angry or upset guest

Pros: I was promoted to a Food and beverage coordinator on 2015 due to my best service to the guest best behaviour within the company as whole
Cons: Hours are flexible in a hospitality industry
