Fair Cape Dairies is a good company with excellent values. A typical work day revolves around meetings, setting up training, doing stats, begging people to give their co-operation so work processes could run smoother. My relationship with my co workers are good, but i struggle to maintain a level of authority when it comes to certain aspects of my job because of my age. Im younger compared to the rest of my co-workers so they see me as younger and not as a member of the team. I've learnt alot at this far...but have had little room to improve myself with regards to furthering my education. What i enjoy most is talking to people...giving them advice..helping them when they need it, and so fourths. The most challenging aspects of my job is getting people to take me seriousely. And because of my age people tend to ignore requests or co-operation, which then hinders the work flow and work processes of my department.

Good company to work for, the experience I have learned thus far its large and with Fair Cape Dairies, you must do the right thing, in fact in any company

Excellent learning curve

Long working hiurs away frim family and friends and sometimes have to work night shift and weekends as well. Good for school leavers as ine can get great working experience and learning opportunities.

Start of day is very important, meeting with staff to start the day

Start of day is very important, what to pack for the day,checking your milk availability, mousse requirement met,staff requirement met,factory looking satisfactory according to hygiene and safety.Check previous day's records for any losses and losses accounted for.Close out all previous work according the software program.Reduce downtime and change overs where possible.Produce on all machines requirement with minimum downtime.Comlete the handover for the following shift.Most challenging would be to keep the target weight for packing in control and to minimize waste along with packing

Excellent learning curve

It's a good places to learn and start career. I enjoy the amount o work given to me me. What I hate the most is the company culture it's extremely toxic. People are very unprofessional.

Good learning curve

Liaising with customer orders and passing it on to next data base making sure client receives product fresh and on time. Good relationship with co-workers assisting each other. I have learned that good communication in the office gives good results and the end of a day. I enjoy most when targets and more has been reached. Customers do not always understand if there is no stock or a late delivery, but i am trained well and have excellent communication skills to explain reasons for a specific issue.

Good quality working environment

The company makes constant positive and exciting business movements towards world class status. All managers and directors are present. There are frequent improvements made for better products management. The company expects long working hours but that comes with the FMCG industry. You never feel alone when facing problems and that's how the employees improve their skills in the process with the company.

Work under pressure

Ot is a very stable coompany and has a fast paced environment forcing you to be adaptble and flexiblem it is important to be able to cope with an ever changing situation and ne able to work under pressure. You work with differwnt cultures and character traits that it is giving you an opportunity to work with all kinds of people
