Ensuring a good Safety management system that is sustainable.

I start each day with a Safety meeting at 06H00. I have a good relationship with my immediate colleagues in the safety department as well as the Line managers and employees to who we render a service. I use an open door policy for all levels. I have learnt that in all you do involve the workforce to get their support in the things you want to see done. Always substantiate your doings with legal requirement to show people that it is not from your own thinking. I enjoy doing inspections and seeing that what I implement and talk about is remembered and done at the various work places. The challenge is the involvement of management in SHE issues as they tend to want to leave the responsibility to the safety department instead of taking charge as per their legal appointments.

Pros: I work independently and work hard. I pay attention to detail and ensure that my staff members to they same and understand why.
Cons: I tend to spent too much time at work even when I am at home especially if the systems are not in place

Ecxellent learning curve

Work at matla ,have a great working relationship with my co-workers. I work from 6to 4 in an underground shortwall mining section. I have a Fitting trade test Red seal acquired from CTC witbank

Pros: good working expirience
Cons: long hours ...slow promotion

Excellent working and learning experience

Pros: Not so good in promoting specially in Engineering field

Exellent learning curve

I really like my compony because theyregards us as top employees,they really adore us as their best employees,they gave us bonus,oppotunities to futher our studies,develop us to what we want to be tomorrow,they really want us to work safe every time,we use to do hira everytime before commencing with any work.they use to plan big for us everytime

Excellent learning curve

I studied at Tshwane University of Technology, I competed My S4 and Practical 1 (P1) in the field of Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current). My diploma is also complete, but still withheld by the institution due to outstanding fees not yet settled. The proof of diploma completion is attached. Leanership completion: I did Basic, Advance and Final Training, Flame proofing and gas Testing at CTC. Employed by Employed by Exxaro Matla Coal. I passed trade test at CTC on this date: 06 June 2019. I wish to submit my CV and copies of certificates in order to be considered for the above mentioned program.

Excellent experience, too much hidden agenda's and internal politics.

Unions rule company/ certain BU managers & some white males feel threatened by white female competition - no support from white management. Loved my work with black BU manager.

Pros: Great learning curve.
Cons: Double standards. Lots of overtime without compensation, worked very hard to try and get everything up to standard. Back stabbing by corrupt/unproductive officialsDemoralising.

Switchgear Operates and maintains substations; tests oil from circuit breakers, voltage regulators and transformers; checks, operates and maintains mechanical and electrical parts in the circuit breakers, voltage regulators, control panels, and transformers; operates and maintains substation controls, alarm points; performs new wiring of substations. Keeps accurate logs on all substations and relaying Participates in substation switching procedures during planned and emergency repairs and outages. Routinely inspects substations and battery installations and records observations and makes necessary repairs and corrections.

Maintenance i had a good relationship with my co-workers I have learned to respect each other at work I enjoyed sharing knowledge with others Most challenging was to do tasks in time
