Excellent learning curve

The company has been running for almost 20 years and has grown in leaps and bounds,but it offers no progression for it's employees,neither in their salaries,careerwise nor academically.

Pros: Great at gaining experience.
Cons: Long hours and inadequate salaries

Daily happenings at Extrupet

Follow up on all local deliveries from previous day collections. Follow up on all exports ie stack dates, packing, containers being stacked, vessel sailed. Update on all import files, check vessel sailed, original docs printed and in file, insurances processed and copies in files, PO's to be processed and signed off. Follow up on all outstanding deliveries. Liaising with co-workers regarding payments, delivery notes. I've learnt that doing things immediately and not procrastinating is a much better way to get positive results. I enjoy it when I can give positive feedback to customers and sales. Challenges I face are working with people that are hard to get through to. Learning about different cultures and understanding people are my priorities.

Pros: Simple tasks, not complicated
Cons: Trying to ensure people understand you.
