My job responsibilities in this role is to coordinate services rendered by our suppliers and maintain the data infrastructure at Estee Lauder retails stores in South Africa, Namibia and Botswana. I also provide support with regards to software used in the retail environment such as IBM Lotus Notes and Retail Pro. I also provide technical support at the retail stores and at head office in relation to hardware and software necessary to perform daily operations. What I enjoy the most is being the backbone of our data infrastructure at retail stores as this is the backbone of transaction capturing at our retail environment. Due to the competency level expected, I'd say the most challenging part of the job is relying on service providers to render services according to expectations.

Pros: Great opportunity for diversification of my IT knowledge.
Cons: Retail staff is usually tricky to help remotely due to limited technical ability.

Daily duties : achieving daily targets calling customers to replenish having events booking customers link selling make sure area is neat and tidy doing facials updating client cards we generally have training on new products that's going to be launched doing stock orders and my Aim is to service each and every customer to the best of my ability giving that that extraordinary service

I've learnt how to manage a team and be accurate with figures ,numbers and office procedures

-Ensuring and checking basic objectives are achieved by each consultant diary bookings ,telecommunication with clients ,commission report and daily sales updated daily . Daily admin work needs to be done office work ethic need to be coordinated ,working with company intranet and being well equipped with Microsoft office suites (excel ,word ,PowerPoint ) - Relationship with my co-workers are intermate as I work with them on a daily basis I plan and do roster train and support consultants with any working material to improve working ability on counter - I love the interaction of diverse group of people and working in a team as the industry I work in is sales I get to experience different personalities - with the economy that we live in makes it challenging to achieve daily and monthly targets as cosmetics is not a need it's a want .

I LOVE WORKING FOR Estee Lauder

Working in the COSMETIC department is great we work together as a team,and the Estee Lauded team work very well together we cover for each other and protect each other.I would not want to work for another company than Estee Lauded. I have built friendships with my customers and our other brands we are family.We enjoy sharing advice on our products as they all compliment each other facials makeovers ,and excellent customer service.

It has always been the highlight of my career. Having the flexibility to show and teach staff.

I pride myself on working consistently and strategically in whatever I do. In the retail industry your focus is not on you or your colleagues, it’s the client services and the authenticity of the services. My day to day duties started with preparation of the daily summary and uniform check,client bookings and any customer complaints.thus we can remedy and retain our clientele. I worked as a manager for 4-5 yrs at MAC melrose arch opening the first stand alone store in Johannesburg and MAC Truworths Cresta, when nobody wanted the task of turning the store around from its -% growth to a +%..I took the challenge and succeeded. Today ,I look back proudly at my hard work along with a successful team. And I say thank you to all the opportunities and blessings,as each challenge is turned to successes.

Great work environment and good culture

? Maintain Cisco Meraki, monitoring network connections on Meraki dashboards ? Prepare, maintain and upgrading of applications ? Assist in/or perform data collection. ? Monitoring and configuring switches and routers ? Logging incidents, requests and closing incidents on Service now(SNOW) ? Adding and terminating user accounts on Lotus Notes ? Creating new user accounts, resetting passwords, unlocking user accounts and setting group policies on Active directory ? Maintain network of store around Gauteng province ? Drafting reports and doing audits ? maintaining and configuring Laptops, POS machines, IPad and Cellphones of users ? training users ? deploying images and patches on SCCM ? maintain printers and scanners ? ADSL, 4G routers and dongle maintenance. ? VPN configuration on Cellphones and Laptops.

My working environment is solely focused on sales and achieving daily and monthly targets , also ensuring daily follow up with customers.Training new consultants on new launches and admin paper work to be submitted to superiors on how business is performing by illustrating on Excel or word .Setting up team meetings and corporate meetings to hold outside events to generate sales aNd revenue for business .
