Great career challenge and learning curve

The career upgrade from an applied chemistry to doing chemical engineering work with best and minimal supervision. Working with different age groups especially the elders and their mechanisms of passing on information. Being connected to work place and it's people from different levels. I learnt to wear shoes I never thought they'd fit in less than a year, that was challenging but great! I learned and was taught a lot.

Pros: Great experience and more learning opportunities
Cons: No continuation of career at Eskom after contract. Sometimes demotivating

Excellent experience

I was doing condition monitoring of pumps mainly, oil analysis, vibration analysis and parameter trending I was also doing plant optimazation and coal analysis

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion
Cons: No cons I can think of

Good experience
