Good learning curve

Administrative work Dealing with students queries Correspondence with the Department of Higher Education and Training. Submitting reports to higher management. Issuing statements of results, certificates, academic records and diplomas. I love solving students problems, enjoy seeing students passing with good results, interacting with different personalities everyday and working unsupervised is really good. Challenges- students repeating the same levels

Pros: Great opportunity to work unsupervised.
Cons: Work under pressure and sometimes long hours.

CHALLENGING, EXCELLENT WORKING EXPERIENCE

A day to day procedure would include checking my emails from central supervisors, checking with my calendar for any current events within the school and other campuses as well. Keeping up to date with the SRC,SASCO and other movements within the organization. Checking with HOU of curriculum and any updates with regards to any form of education for the students. Making sure that all students have proper documentation with NSFAS and that their needs and concerns are heard. With collaboration with some of the lectures there is extra mural activities/ events that take place and we work together for the success of the event. What I enjoy mostly is the diverse people that i come across and being able to accommodate all is my greatest achievement. I have learnt to not only be of help to the students personal and social aspects but having touched a life in a way that is incredible, humbles me and is a great honor to have changed the way people see and judge you.

Pros: There is a great opportunity for growth and improvement hence my work and the added advantage of qualifications of Psychology is needed by TVET colleges.
Cons: Work hours are suitable and fair.

Computer Skills, word, excel, power point and internet.

relationship good, Experience of how to handle clients and stakeholders. listening skills. administer calls by handling incoming and out going calls. Take message and distribute messages to the relevant staff. keep documentation for future references and provide feedback to the relevant person. learnt communication skills and computer skills. The part i enjoy the most is to help clients and make them happy. challenges are resources because we do not have adequate resource.

I am a hard working college graduate in Public Management from Esayidi Tvet College. During the course of my academic career, I also managed to accrue nearly 18 of work experience. I had the privilege of working for Esayidi Tvet College in the reception role, where I learned valuable professional skills such as Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately capturing of students information, telephone Technics, Answering and Screening and forwarding incoming phone calls, Receiving and sorting daily mail, Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable with all necessary stationery and material. In both my academic and professional life,

Exllent learning curve

Manual recording of petty cash journal for the unit Monitoring departmental expenditure against budget Manual compolation of journals Prepare stock reconciliation of campus requisitoin of learning mateal against central records Receive and record invoice according to relevent journals Assist with accounts receivable. Prepare reconciliation accounts Prepare reports and summaries of accounting activities Monitor time sheets for other trainees within department. Fillng documents Receiving and sending emails and faxes Collect data and inputs electronic system Photocopying documents and occasionally laminating certificates

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion
Cons: only 8 hours per day whimaks 40 per week

Capturing, manage calls, keep stationery. filling, PA, and filling

Handling of complaints and queries Making registrations for all the courses offered by the college. Create, manage and maintain college database Capturing of all data's on the registers Caltech. Sending text files to DHET after all students have been captured into the system. Stock requisition for the college and cleaning material. Invrtory control, asset register and stock allocation register. Maintaining an efficient filling system. In charge of the college storeroom. Making and receiving telephone calls from and to various departments and personnel. Operate office equipments such as telephone, computer, printer, photocopying machine. Typing and manipulation of documents

Pros: No promotion because im still doing my inservice training
Cons: 8:00-16:00

Excellent

A typical day is when I bar-code the Assets and check the location if it still valid.I work very well with my colleagues.I have learnt a lot in terms of being efficient and I have learnt how to communicate well written and verbal.I enjoy interacting with student when I enrolling them.The most challenging aspect of the job is when some of the Assets are missing or moved from their location and no one want to take responsibility for that.

Pros: Get employed permanently
Cons: Meeting deadlines and if I don't have the resources.

Eager to learn and able to work under pressure

I Have good capturing skills, Interpersonal relations and facilitation skills,Good communication skills, i have gained to always be proffesional to your workers and clients, my relationship with my co - workers is excellent we work well and understand each other, the challenges i usually come across to answer a call of a rude person i always make sure i keep calm and answer him/her in a polite manner and be able to assist them with whatever they want.

Cons: Missunderstandings towards co-workers

Good communication skills

As i am working to this company i ahve learnt to make sure you work hand in hand with poeple ask if you dont understand, learnt to answer calls in a polite manner no matter how rude the customer is, learnt to use outlook and internet, learnt to use photocoping machine and most importantly have learnt that if a client want assistance wait for it to say what is here for then assist not rush to assist but dont have full information.

Pros: Great opportunity to work in this office
Cons: Not getting enough time for lunch
