As i was thrown into the deep end when i started at this company i managed to learn a lot as i had to take on lots of responsibilities within the Accounts division.Started off in the Creditors and helped out with the payroll.Then moved over to the Debtors and also assisted the Accountant with various duties such as bookkeeping.Daily Balancing of the Cash book.Assisted with the monthly EMP submission and payment to SARS.Responsible for the submission of the Vat 201.Application for the Tax Clearance Certificate .Responsible for the Petty Cash. Responsible for the maintenance of the fleet.Reporting to management on a weekly base re vehicles expenses.Reports done on Excel.Reconciliation of all Debtors and Creditors accounts.

Learnt alot as i was throne in the deep end

This was a good learning experience as iu was assisting in all the accounting sectors.That is the Debtors,Creditors Purchase orders, procurement, Company taxes such as Vat201 Emp 201.Uif, SdL, paye Application of tax clearance certificates. Bookkeeping.Cash Book Balancing.Reporting to management.Reports done on Excel Spread Sheets.
