Excellent learning curve

My typical work involves and not limited to: Ensuring that new hired employee receive all payroll documentation Updating training master database Ensuring that Performance Review reminders are set up on HR Premier prior to the due date New information in the HR system is captured, monitor the quality of data. I have an excellent professional relationship with my colleagues or co-workers I have learnt how to challenge life and to be always optimistic I enjoyed being part of the challenging working environment. The most challenging aspects of my job is balancing the workload because you have to keep track of everything that is going in the business otherwise you will drop the ball.

Unstable & unrealible company

I wouldnt advice nor reccomend anyone to work for ensight because the is no job stability, if they dont want you anymore they find ways to get rid of you. Working environment is a roller coaster, things get changed on a daily basis. The company is still unstable they dont have proper channels or ways of doings things. They dont have mentorship, you get thrown in a river and learn how to swim . Poor management/leadership.No bonuses earned on a junior level.Its difficult to get career growth in an unstable company.they set a culture/company values and procedures but they dont follow them. Great exposure in terms of working in a field and optize mining processses .

Pros: No opportunities for promotion
Cons: Long working hours- no rewards/acknoledgement

Competent HR Professional

Working at Ensight is a unique experience with the most gratifying part for me being the growth and development of our graduate engineers in whom we invest a lot of time and energy. My relationship with the staff is a nurturing one in which i care about the personal development of employees. My greatest learning is that of flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances. I enjoy establishing new systems, policies & procedures and maintaining them. The challenge I experience is to shift the thinking of a non South Africa company to embrace and comply with South African law.

Pros: Flexibility such as working from home. Great expansion opportunities
Cons: Lack of understanding of South African labour context
