Learning curve for the oil industry

Working at this company is really challenging on a daily basis. This being an old plant, documents were not stored or handed over during the years therefore finding information regarding the various parts of the plant is an ongoing challenge. In most cases reverse engineering and site visits/measurements is required in order to complete any task. The type of industry is safety critical, thereby offering you the opportunity to learn various aspects of the industry not the title you're hired for.

Great company

My day starts bychecking emails and queries currently i work from home. I then do work requests on the work portal and sometimes there are meetings and telephone calls from the business I have a good relationship with my co-workers helping them when needed. What i have learnt is to deal with pressure, multiple tasks simultaneously and technical processes that i have automated in accounting. I enjoy challenging myself to automat my work where i can. The most challenging aspect of my work is to finish all the requests on a daily basis as it is of high volume

i have worked in a male dominated environment, where you need to work overtimes sometimes even on week ends, when there is price increase every customer
