Enel Green Power Reviews

Diverse Culture

My Experience at Enel it is a diverse culture where you constantly need to adapt with change and dealing with different people every day. i learned to be innovative and creative and to adapt to change. We have a very good working relationship we enjoy working as a team and sharing new innovative ideas. every ones view matters. My main work include site inceptions and and back to back meetings and presentations, courses and awareness(safety). I learned new cultures, patience, new technologies and my technical and safety standards improves every day. The most challenging aspects is interacting with your team mates in different locations and abroad with Communication being the barrier in between and having to be a team player from a distance. I enjoyed mostly our team buildings, sharing of ideas and courses attended.

Pros: Big Growth
Cons: Lot of traveling to remote areas

I am highly empowered and I appreciate the opportunity that I am given within the company.

I am energetic and a good team player. I go an extra mile to get the work done. I am open minded and have good diversity management skill. My strength comes from the experiences that I came across in general. I am able to tacle new challenges and make a success out of them.

Pros: Enel green power is a great company will a lot of opportunities.
Cons: My area of work is in the western cape province and my family is in Gauteng province.I travel every weekend and that limits my resting period and I believe that my work performance will be affected in a long term

Constant learning as renewables is a fairly new industry in South Africa

A typical day is usually having progress meeting of works done the previous day When on site is to monitor the works and compare it to the Gannt Chart and give suggestion on how to stay on track when deviating. Review designs and work method statements Ensure that the team is working as a unit and safely I've learnt how to commission a plant successfully according to the Grid Code Compliance regulation I enjoy the travelling and change of environment Most challenging aspects of the job is that there is constant change in the work environment.

Pros: Great opportunity for growth
Cons: constant over time

Excellent learning curve

Enel is good company with mixed cultures and diversity. we are occupying 2 floors 5th and 8th floor and 8th floor is a home away from home, very open minded co workers with a very positive contribution to each others daily operations. your team members are not only your department you get assisted everywhere. the most challenging part is travelling as i am also responsible for the approvals of the travelling for everyone, now budget is what makes it difficult. i have learnt that a positive environment can make someone very productive.

Pros: Growth
Cons: Favoritism

Working in multi racial culture

Enel Green Power is an International Company doing Renewable Energy. The workforce is young and full of life. The head office for Sub-Saharian Africa is in Sandton. I work in the department of Operations and Maintenance as Facilities Co-Ordinator. The position is both Technical and Administrative. We are approximately 50 in the department. There is a lot of travelling to plants as all of them are in other provinces. The challenging part of the work is the budgeting. All in all controlling expenses to be allocated to the correct department for a technical person like me can be fun.

Pros: New Company in the Market,
Cons: Temporary Contract
