Great learning opportunities

I started as a technical intern and within a few months of working with desktop support equipment of the latest version and being faced with both hardware and software related issues, I was introduced to server 2012 r2 and have been training as a server administrator wile doing my desktop support. The most challenging thing I had to face was learning about raid drives but it only took me days to understand even that . IV worked on DC server, dhcp, and more.

Pros: had two professional server administrators teaching me server admin
Cons: not enough time to juggle both server and desktop support

Great skills acquisition

The years working at EMS have given me unlimited exposure to the server environment even before I was capable of working with them because my boss believes in teaching off all skills set to you so that once you decide to work on your own things like active directory domain services do not give you problems, IV worked on windows server 2012 r2 and this being the latest server on the market . I'm able to use exchange server SQL server and network administration.

Cons: contract work only

Learning opportunities

A days work load includes both proactive calls and reactive desktop calls from a variation of users for laptops,desktops, and printers.I have been doing server 2012 r2 training and have been working on DC, DHCP, exchange servers so I know my way around user accounts and all the setup requirements. IV been teaching myself how to use the security systems in place including CCTV .

Pros: administration work is simplified
Cons: long working hours for little pay

Great entry level IT training

The company services a large government funded company called Mpumalanga tourism and parks agency, and we also have provided service to thaba chweu municipal offices . I work as a computer technician and receive part training as a server administrator and working towards writing my mcsa and mcse exams in sever administration, I worked on server 2012 r2 as a Domain administrator IV worked on exhange and DHCP servers. IV done network troubleshooting and admin as part of my technical support duties and I handle both hardware and software maintenance and repair

I work bubbly people that love to make fun, driven by meeting deadline always putting our customers first working hard towards meeting the goal always happy and also willingly to learn new things ,we face challenges as they come and we work as a team to give good services to our people that is our guests
