Element Six Reviews

Hardworking reliable engineer, I believe I will be an asset to.your company

I am a focused, hardworking and energetic Industrial Engineer (graduate)from the University of Johannesburg. In the year 2017 I was doing experimental training (P1 & P2) with Element Six as per requirement to obtain my qualification (National Diploma in Industrial Engineering) and I am currently seeking for work exposure to enhance skills and knowledge. I have enrolled with the University of Johannesburg with B-tech in Industrial engineering which I completed in November 2018. I am a fast learner who is prepared to start at the bottom to work my way to the top. I intend on doing so by committing myself to your company and its values, not only that, but also to be an asset using experience, and developed skills.

Pros: Great opportunity for knowledge and skill development
Cons: 8 hours and longer

Cons: The company is uses metallurgical application and I did chemical engineering.

Excellent learning curve

I enjoy more when I work with salt compacts, because at least it's not like the M40 powder which is a danger to our lungs and skin though there are respirator. Co-workers are very helping, friendly, we are more of the best team players in our group. We blend well together, working hours are and 8 hour shift inclusive of morning shift as well as afternoon shift. I have learnt how to master doing different compacts on different machines, from sleeves to salt compacts. The challenging part about working here is that they move you from machine to machine sometimes it becomes hard to keep up with the safety points of each machine as times where you end up mixing them up.

Pros: Great opportunity for learning
Cons: Standing for the whole 8 hours of work

To be able to work with different characters of people and able to manage them

I have learnt that I can't please everyone on the the team , even if you try by all means to be a team player. I mostly enjoy to train and to know that the employee work safely, and I'm not afraid to stop an employee if he or she works under unsafe act, safety comes first. I also enjoyed to do the planning and archive my targets on time and in full. I do engage with my co-workers though I'm strict but also fair. The challenging aspects it's when there a loss caused by a scrap. We immediately do the problem solving, trouble shooting.

Pros: Yes that would be great opportunity for promotion
Cons: Yes mostly I do work long hours

I

Well I personally enjoyed working at E6 our department was just a small department of 4 people and for me to see a promotion that means one of them I mean the administrator should either leave the job or anything but be out of the company. Besides that I only ha the work experience with no qualifications to support it as I actually studied for HR and work in that flied for over 5years

Pros: Well in my department promotion was not promising as it was just a small department of 4 of us.
Cons: 11hours, I did the extra hours willingly
