Elelment Six Abrasives Reviews

- Project management

My current role as a Senior Material Scientist enables me to playing a leading role within a specific customer/product development portfolio. Initial upscaling of fundamental labscale development work showing both the potential to do the material developmement at a very higher scale and show repeatability and reproducibility with the same material properties. Day to day operation entails new materials development and technical report writing and presentations. This job enables me to interact with a whole range of employees across the plant at various levels and with different backgrounds. Building a team work environment and allowing every team member involved in my projects to play a specific role and have a sense of ownership of the work and projects we are involved in. Most challenges are typical of any work enviroment and mostly opportunites to turn what initial seem a problem into an opportunity to attain our goals.

Pros: Great start for aspiring professionals in particular in the field of interest, thus science and material development
Cons: Unpredictability of the business itself and its global markets

Excellent learning environment for an emerging scientist.

It has been a really good exposure for me.in the field of interest, material science. The projects I have been trusted with coupled with other professional training programmes like LSSGB offered by BMGI have really helped me grow as an emerging scientist.

Pros: A potential room for further career advancement.
Cons: Flexible working schedule
