I am always eager to learn new things and to grow within any organisation

I was at home for a year to spend some time with my kids and last year I made the decision to return to the corporate world. I take kids to school in the morning and go straight to work. Since I've started at Efficient Wealth a year ago I have met a lot of new people and enjoy each day. The financial industry is so different from my years at the Road Accident Fund and I take in a lot of how things work. It is completely different to the legal field I was so used to, but look forward to learn more. I enjoy meeting the clients and interacting with them and once I've gained the right experience I would definitely like to move up once an opportunity presents itself.

Pros: Gaining this experience can open so many doors for me as an individual.
Cons: I will have to study in the new year to build up my knowledge in the field.

Personal Assistant

I have a positive attitude. I have 8 years’ experience in the financial industry and 18 years as a personal assistant. I love new challenges, quick learner, willing to learn. I work well under pressure, I have the ability to take leadership when necessary. I have a good balance of people and technical skills. I have very good initiative skills and I'm a hard worker and also take my work seriously and have pride in what I do. Good problem solver. Very professional. Typical work day - very busy, admin related and problem solving, working with clients and report directly to my financial advisor. Working independently. Co-workers - working extremely well, happy environment. I enjoy new challenges, multitasking and to have a busy day also to make our clients happy at all times, also problem solving.

Enjoy learning new things and challenging myself to do better

I am looking forward to learning more about the company and growing within your organization. Using my years of working experience to benefit and add value to your organization. I work well with my co-worker and work well in a team environment. I enjoy completing my task within the required time period, solving problems as well as customer service . Helping the customer with problems as I have rather good experience within the front office environment. Getting to know the systems and procedures and understanding when and why things are done

Excellent learning curve

I am Amanda Lubisi I am 32 years old; I live in Lakefield. I am a self driven hard working person. I have completed Matric, Cashier Course, National Call Centre Course, Regulatory Exam 1: KI, Category I, II, IIA and III and English Skill for Learning. I have worked in a call centre industry as customer fault handler, debt collector and sales consultant.

Career in a brokerage

A typical day for me at work is mainly dealing with commission statements. We have two pay runs in the month and our senior should ensure on daily basis that the bank statement is updated for us. We are two juniors that load and ensure that all commission is allocated to advisors. We request statements, make calls for follow-up amd also deal with client information. Its alot of hard work work and alot of curve balls. Especially when we approaching deadlines. Like any environment e our ups and downs but together as a team we get through them.
