Edward Snell and Co. Reviews

Very informative with a lot learned

We clocked in at 7 am and clocked out at 4 pm. Most of the people were generally friendly and I had great interactions with my fellow learners and most of the permanent personel at the Isando distillery. I Learned a great deal about FMCGs, distilleries and the Food and Beverage industry at Edward Snell and Company. My experience at Edward Snell prepared me with the ability to understand and work in any packaging environment. It has equipped me with the much needed skills and trained me to be a team player. I am now confident that I'm ready to take on most of the challenges faced in F&B manufacturing companies and be a true asset in the company. One of the most challenging aspects was the labelling of bottles as specifications need to met and it's pivotal to the branding and image of the product

Pros: great learning experience
Cons: limited opportunities to grow within the company

High pressure environment

A typical work day for me, I start work at 7am,would be in about three to four meeting Mondays Tuesday and Friday. Tbis inclused daily production meetings ans SHEQ meetings. Since Im also responsible for security there are meeting and issues i need to attend to as well. As a Safety Officer there also internal trainings and inductions for newly employed employees as well as contractors that I need to conduct eat least three time a week. My scope of work is very challenging and tberrs still a lot to learn.

Pros: Career Advancement
Cons: Stressful Environment
