I have 8 years work experience in a very busy call centre and customer service environment. As I work with both inbound and outbound customers, service level has to be maintained at all times. Customers walk-in to the store to open accounts and I interview them on personal details, address and employment details. After the interview the system automatically check the customer credit record. If the customer pass, I call the human resource deparment or manager of customer to confirm employment. If confirmation has been confirmed successfully I approve the account and customer can get a card from the store to purchase. I can be able to sell some products to the customer such as account protection plan and edgars club account.

Excellent learning curve, growth within the company
My day at work starts with checking the dairy planner for the day, huddle for 15minutes just to recap on what will be expected to happen during the day, usually we have leader who takes through the minutes , I've learned to be patient with my colleagues, respect one another and always strive to be successful in what I do. That entails going an extra mile in my job, dedication and hard work. The most challenging aspects in my job would aiming to please every customer I see, as we all know, customers are always right, we put customers first in everything we do.
Pros: Great opportunities to grow within the company would be one of the pros one can take advantage of, learning from your supervisor, putting more extra hours to meet deadlines
Cons: Working on Sundays sometimes really seem like a disadvantage but if u know what u r aiming for, nothing is impossible

Excellent staff
It is a retail company which sells goods like clothing, cellphones, household goods, accessories and it is edcon under edgars. I have worked from different departments learning new things and loved working my job as it grew me
