Great experiences with challenges I overcame

Working under Edcon has been a great privilege. I worked as a casual generic, made my targets until they promoted me to a new permanent position for a new counter which nobody knew about. I strived to push for sales. Working on a new counter in a small town was a bit challenging to convince people to buying the products but with my perseverance, I pulled through and have alot of loyal customers. My challenging time was when no stock came in for months. I did orders but nothing came but I did what I could to keep my loyal customers. I have learnt on how to attend to customers as well as working with different personalities, that has taught me to be patient. When I'm at my counter, that is my business and life, I need to do what I can to keep the business alive and running. I love growth and what keeps me going is new challenges, that's why I applied for this job I feel I am ready mentally,physically and spiritually to take on a bigger and better role

Pros: Great opportunity to promote and be a brand ambassador for a new counter
Cons: Since I am located in a small town, it can get a little quiet so one needs to go around looking for potential customers
