Good environment for learning

I also did Learnership (support system) at Gijima, from (1st of September 2016 – 28 February 2017). So with my expertise and knowledge I have I think I can add value in your organization. I was given the opportunity to learn Microsoft Windows server 2008 and 2012 Active Directory and any Networking job. Currently I am working at ECN as NOC engineer. My duties are first line maintenance, monitoring lines and configuring voice gateways (Patton) making endpoints, bindings and troubleshooting by means of creating Putty or Terra Temp Sessions Using CLI, troubleshooting by means of SIP and H323 signaling messages, monitoring all calls originating and terminating from the soft switch or the gateway. We provide quality support to clients, analyze the SIP Logs and CDR(Call Details Recording), to find the fault and replace with the best route.

Communicate with my Channel/Schedule meetings/Team player/Work with 3 colleagues

My typical word day is to reach out to my Channel, Build a relationship, schedule meetings for the week and share as much product information as possible. I work with 3 colleagues and we report in to one Manager, we have a very open relationship and work strong together. I have learnt new methods of how to engage with my channel and understood what the purpose of my role is. I enjoy resolving complex queries and follows up regularly with my channel. I enjoy receiving a compliment from my Channel as that for me is a great reward that I met their expectations. Upselling is a challenge but that is not on my part, its the vast services that we try to deliver and often come across hurdles due to third party providers. All in all, I am glad to be apart of my current team but my future aspirations requires me to strive for better and greater heights.

Cons: Commission structure gives me no indication on What I should take home.

Excellent Learning curve

I am a very organised and dedicated employee, with excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills. I enjoy work that is challenging, interesting and allows me to take ownership. I am built up with three key elements of success that is hard work, determination and a big smile. I long to accomplish a great and noble tasks, but my chief duty is to accomplish small tasks as if they were great and noble. I believe that great things are not done by impulse, but buy a series of small things brought together

Provides good learning curve

Young dynamic and vibey envionment. we work in open plan offices which make the environment for homely. we have good open relations with top to loe level employees. Team spirit and sharing of information is easier and most people are willing to learn not only for their selfdevelopment but for the growth of the business.

Efficiency

Excellent company - However they do not pay their employees what they are worth. I have been working at ECN for more than a year and is still on a temporary contract. I have managed to bring the sim stock up to date and solving all the inconsistencies with the sim stock. My responsibility is to keep the Telkom and Vodacom APNs up to date to ensure correct billing. These responsibilities are all on my shoulders which I believe that I am doing a brilliant job. How ever I feel under valued and under paid.
