Excellent learning curve and great exposure in the industry.

I have a great working relationship with my colleagues and contractors that I work with on a daily basis. A typical day at work for me would include a site visit to check the contractors progress with the project on site and check any problems they might be encountering that I can help with. Tying and issuing documents such as site instructions and payment certificates etc. Attending site meetings if necessary. I have learnt a lot about good project management, drawing using auto cad and civil 3D, running water projects as I was involved in a project where we were refurbishing a water treatment plant and adding more structures to it. I enjoying working with different kinds of people and learning something new everyday that is really beneficial in my career growth. The most challenging aspect is been outdoors for a lot of hours in the sun because sometimes it gets extremely hot and that can be draining at times.

Pros: Great opportunity for growth career wise
Cons: Working outdoors sometimes
