I m team builder. Passionate about creating a quality technical team driven by profibility through high safe standards. I train my customers on our product . I am responsible for the service maintenance, Breakdowns, Technical support, programming, pdi's and site visits. I have a variety of experience that acquired through the different industries I worked and that includes mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronics, Diesel engines and scada systems. Assembled, modify, programmed, commissioned, handing over and after sales techinical support to my customers. I worked on high speed stacking and conveying system on a food dispatching plant. Was responsible for planned maintenance, fault finding, service maintenance, programming and team leader. I have mining, metal, food and earth moving equipments experience.

Day at work

Start work at 07h00 do previous days reports then get job sheets for the present days work, get parts needed for jobs that needs to be done either a breakdown or a pdi(pre delivery inspection) on the machine phone the client and ask where machine is and what is wrong with the machine. My relationship with my present co-workers is very good as we discuss problems and help each other and discuss different problems on machines. I have learnt a lot about different operating systems of electronics and electrical as well as hydraulics and how to solve the problems on these systems as quickly as possible. Problem solving on a machine and seeing the joy on a customers face when you tell him that the machine is fixed and working. Working without certain tools when you are far away or across the border and try to explain to a client a problem in another language need a lot of patience and technical expertise.

I have excellent verbal and written communication skills, Strong administrative and report writing skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Ability to work under pressure. Able to display strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. I have developed excellent interpersonal communication skills and MS Package such as MS Word, Excel, Ms Power point, Ms Project and internet.

Excellent Stepping stone

Awesome company and people. Promised huge perks etc on entry but nothing has come to light. When working away from home, promises of substance allowance, office on site, company cell phone, freedom to purchase important spares when needed... Money will be easily accessible. Nothing was done. I had to pay for everything out of my pocket. Still awaiting reimbursement from the last 8 months, while working away from home. Basically I put in much more than was given to me unfortunately.

Pros: Great experience
Cons: Not appreciated, Taken advantage of, Empty promises, They don't care about family life.

Excellent learning of construction indu.stry

The company is not a open for change or new ideas. The manament don't have a open door policy. In total not n very nice place to work for. The company has been brought to new changes by new investors but they are now do alot of retrenchment's and this is now leading to back stabing.

Learnig on a different tyoe of industry

I have been working for the current comapany since february 2018.. and so far its not really as challenging beacuse we are dealing with hiring of machines and as on that.. my relationship with customers and clients is well and they speak/ communicate with me alwys... im also still learning more on people's behavior and how to deal with that.... it all comes in with listening. And also with the company ive never been on the bad side of the company itselfnim working and abiding well .

Driving and achieving service excellence

The achievement of customer satisfaction is great reward. Rental industry very busy and demanding. Customer who experience downtime is a very unhaapy one. Uptime is key.

My Daily Activity

My daily activities include a lot of identifying opportunities and solving day-to-day challenges emerging. Working in a very challenging and diverse environment, I have learned that every day is a different and unique challenge requiring a different set of thinking/skills. As a graduate appreciating continuous learning, I find challenging and diverse environments fascinating and interesting. As a change leader, working with/around people to solving long-itching problems is the best moment of my day. I am a strong believer in people's engagement to get the jobs done and add-value to employees, shareholders, and growing the business. I am striving to continue doing the same and more, given the opportunity to do so.
