hard working with long hours no where to move up stagnated every day is very very different and can be exciting as well as exhausting. As hard and strict as I am with our managers just as much respect I have for them and will help where ever I can

I am looking for other work as when I started it was a super place to work unfortunately due to changes in management the last 2 years it has become a struggle to stay positive at work. It is a constant up hill . Our company however is a great company and I just think we lack procedures

long hours but every day is extremely different some go fast others drag. The different personalites drive you crazy but they also make you laugh you can meet interesting people between the suppliers managers and clients disappointing for me is no room for promotion

hours are long and it is demanding yet every day is very different and anything can happen so you always need to be ready to jump in and help where you are needed and be willing to work 6 to 5 for sometimes longer

Personnel Assistant Ex Ordinary

My typical day starts at 6 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon. I assistant 27 managers as well as our Regional Manager and bookkeeper I have learnt to work with a lot of different people I love the diversity of my job each day

a typical day is 6 to 5 grulling longs hours no lunch breaks we try and have a tea break where we all sit together not always possible every day is very different and that is exciting

Great experience built up

I started as a data capturer and worked my way up to become a bookkeeper. I was then transfered to PE to run the office. A year later I was given shares in the company and I was also offered the opportunity to process payroll on VIP. I am now looking for something new to broaden my horizons ans with my experienced gained I can apply it to any new position, working for another company. Relationships with co workers are great we are always going the extra mile to assist one another. My day at work starts at 6, I download bank statements first after switching on my laptop, thereafter I would check emails... the most challenging of all is when I get endless phone calls ans emails of queries that are general.knowledge based...its wastes time.

Pros: Excellent promotional opportunities
Cons: Long working hours and more is still expected
