Excellent learner, Smart worker, Responsible worker and most important team worker

Am a fleet controller working at East Rand Bulk for more than 6 years. I have good experience in logistic especially in Oil and Energy transport industry. I have Good relation with petroleum industries. I've work with Sasol, BP, Engen, Total as an contractor in transportation of their fuel and chemical oil. My experience covers scheduling of trucks and drivers as the customer requirement, controlling the dispatch, loading, movement of product from point A to point B, and offloading and de-briefing of drivers after the load has be done, monitoring movement of fleet using satellite tracking system like Mix-Telematics. I have good skill in computer ie Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook

Pros: I started as fleet tracker then promoted to be a fleet controller. Now am likely to become operation supperviser
Cons: I give my self enough time to complete my duties, working extra hours is not a problem if it necessary, but I always complete my duties in time to avoid delays and unproductive

Customer Relationship Management

1. Driver Management • Ensure driver reports for shift on time and is fully utilised for the duration of the shift. • Ensure vehicles checked and enroute by 06:00. • Receive deviation report from external Burea - inspect and sign off. Investigate all deviation. • Manage daily attendance register and duty / driving hour registers -review and sign off on a weekly basis. • Ensure shift pattern compliance • Consistent consequence management must be applied against any persons violating a statutory/ company / oil company policy or procedure. • Sign of deviation report daily. • Monitor and manage time spent at loading / offloading points and rest areas (supported by external Burea / briefing and tacho verifications) • Ensure that drivers comply to due dates and training requirements as per the training matrix. • Manage driver entry permits and induction • Analysis of driver production and availability

I have a diploma and Btech in transportation management, 12 months experience on fleet management and 4 months experience on workshop assistant

Harsh working environment with no benefits or growth boss has no way of talking to staff, shift work 12 hours and little pay hostile environment poor working conditions no overtime
