Offers good career growth

During my time at Dunlop and Auto tyres, I was able to save money in efficiency improvement projects, improve production and improve product quality. For example, I carried out a Six sigma plant efficiency improvement project that saved R15M in a year, Successfully formulated and implemented Energy Management policy for a rubber manufacturer, Waste reduction projects resulting in R1.5M savings a year , Developed an Energy management system for a heavy manufacturing company among other projects. I also successfully lead a plant refurbishment project for critical equipment worth R 300M. I am excited about the Plant Engineer position and the ability to help your company succeed. Good tyre fitter

I have learnt a lot from Dunlop company I do have some challenges from while I was working there, but are end I've managed to handle the business, we were about like 9 in the work and we were working good getting along to each other in 2 days, everybody was working hard I can say because even the boss was impressed by All workers no one had been fired before

I work under pressure at any time

I am a highly self motivated youngster who enjoys working with people and has learnt a lot and can work under pressure at any time and I've learnt to understand different types of people and their ways of doing things

EXCELLENT LEARNING CURVE

My job involved daily morning production review meetings, plant maintenance online and off-line, man management, safety issues just to mention a few. the job also involved projects involving plant improvement and quality improvement

I learned alot at that company , i have gained alot of experience on electrical field

one most thing i enjoyed working at dunlop was thr good relationship we had with my colligue,we were like a familly helping each other with information.the most challenging thing was for me to work alone,doing all fault finding and problem solving by my self,that helped me a lot in my career because i can now work on my own,

Exposure to new opportunities

On a regular work day my job is to supervise work done on the production line and to manage house keeping I have learnt how to part take in team building activities as well as report writing skills what I enjoy the most is learning something new everyday in this way the job becomes more enjoyable the most challenging aspect is to control 4 production lines at once but after learning or training i over came that challenge

Learning curve but I'm a contractor worker every year I sign a new contract.

Every year I sign a new contractor I'm not permanent that's why I'm looking for a job. The company is good but job is not secured it will only help me to gain more experience.

Pros: Less opportunities because I'm not even permanent.
Cons: Long working hours
