Dulce cafe Reviews

In the café I learned more how to work with people.

I started as a trolley boy nd became a barista because customer loved my job. One the is am a boy that would change your mood ,let's say u came to work not feeling well,i would make you smile. Am always happy and that's what made me and my co-workers relationship to be strong. I learned how to be happy even if the customer is not in good space and how to make the feel at home and welcome. It's when customer come and tell you your coffee is cold or the food is not the way. Thats when I was getting the knowledge of being a floor manager and I would speak to a customer and apologize even if they are wrong. The working days where not bad at a barista position it was from Monday to Friday nd the is weekends were you are in shift. Working hours morning shift 8:00am-1:00pm and then night shift 1:00pm-21:00. What I enjoyed is getting knowledge about the business.

Pros: Knowledge of being a floor manager
Cons: Floor manager works from 8:00-16:00 you get weekend offs also

Be able to work under pressure on my own

As an Assistant manager you're dealing with a lot from front house to the kitchen, placing stock orders to resolve issues. Through all that at end of the day the customers have to be happy all the time. I've learnt the trade in a hard way were I had to take charge of everything all alone the hole week and I've made it, as an assistant manager I had to go that extra mile to see and be sure everything is going according the way it supposed to be.

Pros: I've been offered a position by one of our customers but because it is very far in Limpopo I had to turn it down
Cons: Most of the time I would start at 6:00am till 20:00pm
