Life At DSV

We are a logistics company, and we specialize in warehousing and distribution of client material. on a normal day we have orders that need processing. When the orders is done you need to schedule a delivery to the client and make sure that it gets delivered on time. Other day duties involve stock count, attending to client queries and urgent requests, answering phone calls, filling all documents and compiling monthly reports. Since the day I started here, i have learned the importance of good communication, and how easy it is to be surrounded by hard working colleagues. The most challenging part about this job is that the pressure is consistent, every single day its a rush to get things done, to make sure parcels are delivered to ensure you always on your feet trying to keep up. but at the end of the day it's a nice feeling knowing that you have done it all and looking forward to do it the next day.

Pros: Our company is a world wide brand, the are open opportunities for growth and travelling.
Cons: No benefits, no holidays, you work the entire year throughout.

Focussed and determind

I assist dealers with complaints and questions, investigating problems with P&A shortages as well as informed the customers via email and telecommunication of any occurring problems with late deliveries or transport complications. With sadness this contract ended between our company and VW. This was also the time it was decided that I proved myself to join their team at UTI. 2011 I was so proud to announce that I have been permanently employed by the company. A small team stayed on that dealt with claims for P&A for VW. I was given two options…to either be transferred to our Ford warehouse or to stay on at VW, I chose VW as I have already built a strong relationship with our clients, but would still be a new challenge the position now changed to Claims Administrator. I get along with people well and is willing to listen and learn as much as possible from the experience. I’m self-motivated and believe in going the extra mile in provided excellent customer service.

The Struggle

I hold qualifications but am paid just like anyone

I have a lot of daily duties that I do. Each day i am given a task to complete. I am the phase of the company in such a way that my absence counts. In all this I have managed to maintain a better relationship with the co workers. I enjoy handling delivery issue. Because if find it challenging each day, I enjoy it because I love challanges.

Have learned a lot

I have learned a lot. Worked with many different clients and pruducts. Have done from implementations to exits. Have been able to study as well. Unfortunately education and working experience so not guarantee a promotion

Great experience

i have 3 years experince in admin and opetheres growth in the company if you have only have close relationship with managers then only you get promoted otherwise you dont get promoted ration . great team to wok with.k in

A very Racist company!

very racist company I have ever worked for, management has no proper qualification and that hinders growth for floor employees.everything is dictate to the guys.

Pros: DSV brand is good and seem harmless
