MY NORMAL DAY AT MY WORKPLACE

TITLE OF MY REVIEW: A NORMAL DAY AT THE DPSA ON A NORMAL DAY I COME TO WORK AND CHECK URGENT EMAILS AND ACTION THEM AND MY DIARY FOR THE DAY. IF I HAVE MEETINGS I PREPARE FOR THEM AND IF NOT ,I MAKE FOLLOW UPS ON GRIEVANCES THAT ARE STILL OUTSTANDING AND FACILITATE RESOLUTIONS THEREOF. IF THERE ARE MISCONDUCT CASES I PREPARE FOR INVESTIGATIONS OR APPOINT INVESTIGATORS FROM OUTSIDE THE DEPARTMENT. I HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH EVERYONE REGARDLESS OF THEIR RANK,I AM APPROACHABLE. I HAVE LEARNT TO WORK AS A TEAM MEMBER AND INDEPENDENTLY AND I DO WELL ON BOTH. I ENJOY TRAINING PEOPLE ON EMPLOYEE RELATIONS MATTER AND ALSO BEING KEY ON RESOLVING THEIR CHALLENGES OR CONFLICT. TO BE TAKEN AS BY EMPLOYEES AS BIASED TOWARDS THEM AND ALSO MANAGEMENT TARGETTING US AS PRO EMPLOYEES IN CASES THAT DO NOT FAVOUR THEM IS A CHALLENGE,HOWEVER,IT IS IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER THAT AS EMPLOYEE RELATIONS PRACTITIONERS NEED TO BE OBJECTIVE ALWAYS

GOOD LEARNING

THIS WAS THE BEST PLACE TO BE AT TO GROW AND LEARN AS THIS COMPANY CONSIST OF 400 USERS. IN THE MORNING CALL WILL BE SHARE AMONG TEAM MEMBER THAT HAVE SIX MEMBER THE CALL DIFFER FROM NEW PC INSTALLATION TO PROJECT SETUPS TO SOFTWARE UPDATING AND TROUBLE SHOUTING. WHEN ONE IS IN TROUBLE FAILING TO RESOLVE A CALL GIVEN AT HAND HE/HER WILL NEED TO ASK FOR ASSISTANCE FOR ONE OF THE TEAM MEMBERS. I HAVE COME TO UNDERSTAND THAT TEAM WORK AND GOOD RELATIONSHIP IS VITALLY IN THIS JOB AS YOU HAVE TO SHARE KNOWLEDGE WITH ONE ANOTHER EVERY TIME IT DEPEND IN THE BEGINNING YOU MAY NEED TO BE FAMILIAR WITH THE BUILDING THE CLIENT THE SOFTWARE. IT WILL TAKE MAY BE 2 WEEKS TO THREE WEEKS TO BE USED TO EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE. AFTER THAT YOU WILL ENJOY THIS JOB

EXCELLENT ADMIN EXPERIENCE

I HAVE GOOD EXPERIENCE IN ADMIN WORK. I HAVE EXCELLENT INTEROERSONAL RELATION, I HAVE LEARN TO WORK WITH A TEAM AND ABLE TO WORK UNDER PRESSURE. I HAVE GOOD COMPUTER SKILLS. I AM ABLE TO WORK EXENDED HOURS. I AM ABLE TO MANAGE HIGH LOAD OF WORK.

Learning curve

administration support every day , meeting attending, i enjoy to engage with stakeholders learn ICT language and how it managed. good relationship with my colleagues , we have supporting each other , i learnt a lot so far basically the office administration management , maintain good flow of office work, i learnt to being a team player in huge projects and lead in some potion . i enjoy to work on task need me think and solve problems the most. multi-language used in office is challenging but English gathers as all and am leaning to speak other language perhaps i understanding now other language the issue is to respond on with that language i prefer to respond using English as official communication language.

Great learning curve

I enjoyed working at DSPS, It was great knocking off knowing that i have assisted some clients. A typical day was when calls were coming non stop and you still had to respond to email enquiries but after all the environment was productive because I had a good relationship with my colleagues and superiors and i could go to them any time i needed help. Working at DSPS was a good n excellent learning curve because I learned good telephone etiquette and how to professionally respond to emails. The most challenging aspect was when I had an enquiry that I don't know how to solve and my supervisor was in a meeting i then had to wait for him to return back so that he can then assist.

Pros: Great opportunity for growth and flexible working hours
Cons: Always traveling
