Distell Springs Reviews

Productivity Focused

I work for Distell Springs as a Line Unit Manager responsible for a glass flexible line of 7 SKU's. I normally have a 16 hour day and have to be for every production minute lost. I have a team of 40 including Team Leaders and Artisans. I have to watch the operational expenditure daily and ensure compliance. Quality is a big name of the game in my environment , we also do exports and this makes the operational to also be very tight on the food safety regulation act. I love working with people and as a leader so this is an ideal role for me. I have a lot on how to coordinate and apply alignment to preventative and corrective actions. There is a lost of pressure as the FMCG industry has always had.

Pros: Good bussines exposure
Cons: Long working hours
