My experience in the Quality Environment. I have thirteen years’ experience working in a Food and Beverage environment. My most recent position has provided me with Quality Management experience in BRC, HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 14001,FSSC 22000,IPW,BSCI & SANS 1841 standards. Currently I manage a team of 22 staff divided between two laboratories (intrinsic and extrinsic). I have build good relationship with my co-works and team members . I am very team orientated and believe that team work is the key to success. I have learnt a lot about the beverage industry, the processes from end to end supply. Distell has a very broad and complex portfolio of products that can be very challenging at times. Distell is a great company to grow and learn and crafts key leaders within the FMG sector.

Excellent learning curve

Enjoy working with the customer s and consumers.Have an excellent relationship with co workers .I like the traveling and meeting peolple. Chalenging aspecs is the dangerous areas we need to go to see some customers.

Excellent learning experience

Being in a sales position really improved my skills on building relationships and communication skills. The working hours were not a normal 9-5 and could get quiet hectic at times. I learnt a lot about working under pressure, meeting targets, and being patient with customer relation.The most challenging aspects of the job was the awkward hours considering that it was in the alcohol industry.

Stable working environment, with lots of challanges

The company is a stable growing company, with great brands; which ensures sustainable job security during these though economic times, with lots of political developments, which shows some policy uncertainity. Having said the above, the is more opportunities done challanges

Store controller

I am currently employed as store controller, managing staff, goods receiving and GRV in accurate process, make sure goods are packed in right way and clear marked, issuing of goods to reduce shortages. Inventory: arrange bin location and bin sticker for new stock items and set MRP control system for re-ordering when riches the safety stock/minimum stock level, cycle counts and annual stock taking. investigate variances and come up with problem solving. Expeditor the delivery of goods, liaise with buyers and supplier to negotiate prices. Keep communication chain with end users and staff for any changes or matters arise. I have been learn a lot from supply chain which make me feel strong to face any challenges and can handle the pressure in a polite manner. Running of stock when end user need is the main concern on my knowledge.

Pros: Will to learn and growth in in the company.
Cons: Can work any flexable hours as demand of the operation.

Priority in the face of complexity:

As an entry level Packaging Manager, I acquired knowledge in Production Variances and the importance of managing waste in order for the business to remain financially fit. The SLAs guides the department to ensure it remains efficient through ensuring all service departments are held accountable for delivering on the promise. Interpersonal relations particularly with critical support departments like Engineering must be harnessed to ensure reliability is optimized for throughput requirements. Juggling many variables and ensuring priority is given to quality, safety and morale has been most exciting and challenging at the same time.

Cons: High staff turn around resulting in excess vacancies, excessive use of unskilled contracted labour pool, very complex environment with over 50 SKUs

Calibrating all the machines that i am going to use through out the day. Verifying the instruments Registering samples Start the analysis required Reporting the results to the system And do 5S
