I'm good what I'm doing Im responsible of making sure the line is running smooth, teach new cashiers counting their floats and supervisor floats as well dealing with returns and refund make sure till points is nit and tidy, I have listening skills n good communications.

Pros: At Dis-chem I started as cashier they promote me to supervise. If u can employ me you will see your self because I through my self in my job working very Hard
Cons: I don't really have problem working long hours as long as I'm getting off and I'm getting paid descent salary

Good

Opportunity paver, morale booster

Interaction with customers is the best scale one can use to measure the kind of service offered by staff. Customer service consultancy has allowed me to be me and still make customers feel valued. When customers have lost or misplaced their till slip and wanted to return an item it is very comforting to let the customer know that as the store we can reprint a copy and assist the customer swiftly. Working for a company like Dischem has taught me the importance of customer service that is not on paper but actively implemented.

Pros: Gateway to more opportunities as I have a learned a lot. I had an opportunity of using Excel and create some spreadsheets, cognitive skills sharpened and being able to think things through and solve problems without going to superiors.
Cons: Hours became more and at the time I had to finish my degree.

Earning experience of cashier,handling money and customers

Having good skills on handling cash, having friendly superisors and colleagues, doing paper work I like that its a busy environment having lot of customers my colleague they are good team players.challenges is to deal with very difficult clients each and every day.

Pros: Getting extra cash when you work hard
Cons: Having short lunch time

Good

It was big challenge but I was not happy happy with the salary because what we were doing was part of management we had to deal with rude and nice customers but we handle the customers in good manner make sure the queries run smoothly we train new cashiers to give an excellent customer service doing linevoids, tender ups when customer would like to add an item authorise for airtime doing refunds cash and credit card.

Cons: I don't really have problem working long hours as long as I'm getting off and I'm getting paid descent salary and the Sundays off because I'm Christmas

Young energetic,hard worker

I'm young and energetic,I'm hard worker and able to work under pressure also willing to work overtime and able to deal with difficult clients and also enjoying working with a team work. I adapt very easily to changing conditions and I'm also a fast learner can also solve problems without any supervision.

Pros: I make sure that I reach my targets every month
Cons: I'm always willing to work overtime and do stock take

Excellent

A very large retail that teaches one lot of things.From dispensary to cosmetic and to knowing lot of products.It helps to better a customer service you provide.Team work is what keeps the spirit of work up and achieve the greatest happy smile on our customer faces at the end of each day.I have leant that no one knows everything until you are given a chance to learn,the challenging part of my job is only when the systems were down everything will go slow and you have to deal politely with impatient customers make them understand what's slowing down the pace of service. I always enjoy it when we are busy and every customer says to me"I like your team work keep it u"with a smile on their faces.

Cons: 8 hours to 8 hours 30 minutes

Experience with customer service and excellent work ethics

I have learned a lot from the company as to how to work with customers and how to be successful in my work, how to go the extra mile and just be able to help where needed

Pros: A company that really takes care of the employees
Cons: The hours are standard hours but it can get a bit long sometimes

Excellent learning Curve

First impression is how you get to promotions. You must work hard first day till last. Be a very creative person. Have strategies on how to deal with customers and how to meet their needs. Be very clever. I started as a cashier, in a month I went for training of a customer care consultant. Know how to control your temper because not all customers would be nice. The customer is always right. A customer is the first priority. What ever you are doing it counts, your personality counts, If you are lazy you are far of being promoted. Always be on time. Don't lie to the customers. If you work hard you get top, You are recognised. Some people will try bring you down but remember you are at work to work not to entertain people.

Pros: great opportunity for knowledge and promotions
Cons: Long working hours
